Help needed…

First, the good news. I got a really lucrative contract that’s going to probably take care of my expenses for at least the next six months once I complete it.

The bad news: I needed money like two weeks ago.

So, in short, I’m short. I have the rent paid, but that’s about it. I need about $1,000 to keep lights on and other misc. expenses until I’m able to bill for the first milestone on my next project.

If you can help me out, I can pay you back. I’m hoping that a few friends step forward rather than having to mine one person’s pocket. I can pay you back within 30-45 days.

I also need some help from people who are capable of lifting heavy things this weekend. I have some bulky things in my storage unit near Hollywood that I want to move into the cheaper unit down here in Clackamas County. Please contact me directly on this one.

Lastly, if anybody has any boxes, let me know, I might need a few.

Minneapolis, Day 1

Okay, so I arrived in Minneapolis. Spent the day mostly hanging out at Mall of America, and somehow wound up seeing a Twins game.

Today is the day I have a rental car (okay, well, a Zipcar). I’m probably going to take that excuse to explore some of the suburban areas of the city.

Oh, and BTW: I haven’t heard from a couple of people I was hoping to catch up with here in MN.. drop me an E-mail if you live here!

Just a quick check-in…

Just letting everybody know that I’m okay, and sorry I’ve been very scarce lately. I’ve been spending a lot of the past couple of weeks packing up the old house and getting it ready for the new owners. There’s a couple more days of this, and then I’ll be back to my normal routines…

Need some help…

I’m starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, financially.  Due to the good graces of a lot of my friends, I’ve managed to get enough money to get myself a decent apartment and keep the lights on while I wait for escrow to close on the house.

However, a few of the straggling little bills I have aren’t getting paid.  An example of that is my webhosting bill, which has been sitting unpaid for a couple of months now.

I would appreciate any donations you can provide to keep the webhosting running.  In addition to being where one can find my resume, it is also where I get E-mail and where my phone system is presently hosted.  Any amount will do.

You can make a donation using Dreamhosts’ system by clicking the image below.  Note that I never see your credit card number or anything.. this is all handled automatically through the webhosting system’s secure payment system.

Donate towards my web hosting bill!

Alternatively, I get a pretty generous reward when people sign up to Dreamhost and use me as a referral.  If you enter the promo code “FEEDLE9” when you sign up, you’ll get a free domain registration!  Or, if you don’t want a free domain registration, just simply enter feedle@gmail.com as your referrer and I’ll still get the credit.

Thanks for tolerating a little spam.

I finally updated the “About… Where” page to use Google Latitude rather than the old service I was using.

Basically, the Boost Mobile phone that was driving the “Otto finder” died (the #(%*# battery just stopped charging for no reason).  This left me with no real way of keeping it updated, short of leaving my Android phone in the car.. and we know THAT wasn’t going to happen.

So have fun stalking me and looking at all the “fun” places I go in a typical day.
